Curro learners share their excitement about tour

Curro Aurora High School learners hope to learn about different cultures on their international tour to Europe

Parents and teachers gathered to send off learners at Curro Aurora High School in Sundowner as they jetted off for their International Tour 2024.

The high school learners are embarking on an exciting trip to Europe. They will be visiting France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy. They will get a chance to visit some of the historical places like Paris in France and Nazi concentration camps in Germany.

Randburg Sun was there to capture the moment of the excited and nervous learners. Asked how they feel about the trip and what they are looking forward to, this is what they shared …

Kaveer Bramdav: I am extremely excited to be going to Europe. I am interested in seeing the camps in Germany and In Curro we are very diverse, and we love accepting other cultures. It will be nice to explore something that is not in South Africa.
Liya Naidoo: I am really excited; I always wanted to go to Paris since I was a kid, so this is a dream come true. I look forward to seeing the Eiffel Tower.
Kyle Wentzel: It has been a year I’ve been looking forward to this trip. All the places I wanted to go to in one trip, so I am looking forward to experiencing the culture and arts of other countries.
Pooja Chunnilall: This trip is very exciting for me. It is the last time as a kid in matric so it is one of the last memories I will have of school. I am excited for Paris and Italy. I love both countries and can’t wait to actually be there, feel and see it for myself.
