Students graduate at the HTA Training and Development

HTA Training and Development hosts a graduation ceremony celebrating the success of its chefs.

HTA Training and Development held its graduation for their Bidfood Learnership Programme and Skills Proficiency Programme students at their campus in Ferndale, Randburg, on May 18.

The graduation was well attended, with over 70 guests including 30 graduates that were able to attend on the day.

Duane Rilley of HTA said that it truly was a day of celebration for the graduates, as their hard work of the past years’ blood, sweat and tears came to fruition.

The keynote speaker was Chef Kabelo Segone, managing director of HTA Training and Development, along with esteemed guests from Bidfood whom HTA thanked for their continued investment into the Training and Development of South African youth entering the hospitality industry.

Segone also shared some words of wisdom with the graduates on their next steps in their careers, life advice and the importance of community.

“We look forward to seeing these bright future stars in the catering establishments, hotels, restaurants and kitchens around South Africa and the globe.”
