Ferndale Bowls Club paints the town red

Ferndale Bowls Club was painted red and white by bowlers on Valentine's Day.

Ferndale Bowls Club celebrated the month of love in style, bringing together all of its members in the spirit of romance and bowling.

The club was beautifully decorated in red and white, with candles placed on the green to give it a unique appearance and atmosphere. Most bowlers wore red and white, and after the games were played, finished off the night with karaoke.

Bowler Lynette Botha said the purpose of the event was to get everybody together, whether they were single or dating, in the spirit of love.

“Everyone enjoyed it tremendously. We kept it to only our members and got more people than expected – that speaks volumes.”

The manager of the club Warren Steyn confirmed that all the tickets were sold and they had a 100 % attendance.
