Curro Aurora top achiever advises matric class of 2024

Akpoduado explained that she will study for a Bachelor of Laws Degree at Regenesys Law School and will also pursue an acting career.

Curro Aurora 2023 matriculant Christabel Akpoduado was a top achiever with seven distinctions on her Independent Examination Board (IEB).

Sharing her excitement She wrote…

I am feeling very accomplished, very happy, and grateful to God and I feel like all the years of high school I spent have paid off. I got what I came here for and what I planned to achieve so I am eternally grateful to my teachers and parents.

For my exams I used the Pomodoro technique, I studied for 30 minutes with five minutes in between. I would take those sessions as power sessions, and I would power through all of them and get as much knowledge as I could take breaks and continue three to four times. I also made sure to prioritise sleep because sleeping well is important to make sure you function at your best. I prepared well and I made sure I was ready in all spheres.

To the class of 2024, my advice is to have a vision and a goal that will guide you in the right direction. There is no point in going to matric and not knowing what you want to do. When you have a goal, and you achieve it there is no feeling greater than that – so set your goals. Put in your greatest effort to ensure that you achieve them.

Make sure that you also have fun because what you’ll take from matric is not just a piece of paper but also experiences and good times with others.
