JRA warns motorists against trying to drive in flooded areas

With summer in Joburg comes the rain, and JRA has proactively warned motorists to drive with care during storms.

With Joburg now in the middle of its rainy season, a number of heavy storms have resulted in dangerous flooding conditions across the city. With this, the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) has provided hotspots for areas susceptible to flooding.

The Malatji informal settlement in Lanseria is among the areas listed, with a number of Randburg’s neighbouring suburbs, including Sunninghill and Lonehill also named.
