Shani Jansen van Rensburg from the matric Class of 2023 and head girl at Hoërskool Randburg passed with flying colours and obtained 11 distinctions.
She writes:
I am super excited and happy that all the hard work paid off and I am relieved because the whole of December was so stressful now and then thinking about it but now, I’m really happy it’s all over. I am super proud of the Class of 2023.
During my preparations for the finals, the most important thing for me was preparing ahead of time and not leaving everything to the last minute. If you do things last minute you become stressed before the exam and cannot focus, and you are distracted. Preparing early enough was important to me.
To the next class of 2024 understand that it is important that you work hard because it is the most important year. Balance is also very important– enjoy it and when it’s time to study put in the work, time, and effort and you will get the results you want.
