WCSS plans exciting events for the new year

WCSS community liaison manager Mathabo Bekimbia-Tchoffo encourages youth to register to vote and teach themselves about how government works

Windsor Community Support Services (WCSS) community liaison manager Mathabo Bekimbia-Tchoffo said that their main goal for 2024 is to increase the membership and be sustainable.
She added that they have exciting events in the pipeline for the new year. “We are looking forward to amazing events and positive changes 2023 taught us that we need to make.”

“I hope and pray for 2024 to be a year of peace, health and prosperity for the Windsor community.”

Bekimbia-Tchoffo also encourages the youth who have not yet registered to vote to register for the coming elections.

“I advise our young people to learn.futurelect.org. They provide civic education for free, and this will help youth to have a better understanding how the government works and the process of voting. They will benefit from it especially first-time voters.”

She wished residents a Happy New Year and added that the greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members. “It’s our responsibility as Windsor residents to create a safe and healthy environment for our community.”
