Cosmo teams receive full playing kits

Sipho Mahlangu explained that their projects include supporting the Witkoppen Clinic with funds to be able to go out and provide their services in impoverished communities.

The Entruevest Impilo Foundation provided new kits to Cosmo City soccer and netball teams.

Kasi Shakers FC and Fairy Tales netball team participated in JayNova tournaments, which were set up to get young people off the streets and into sports. During the tournaments they were playing without the kits.

Sipho Mahlangu of Entruevest Impilo Foundation explained that lately there are only a few townships that still have youth taking sports seriously.

Full kit donated to the Fairy Tales Netball Team.

“Young people are now engaged in crime, drinking, sex and drugs. So this just caught our interest, since there was a tournament aimed at keeping the youth occupied and off the streets. We felt the need to assist.

“We wanted to assist in the tournament and we were told that they have two teams that come to play without kits, and getting kits for them would mean a lot to them. We jumped on that and we gave them full playing kits.”

Musa Mahlangu, Sipho Mahlangu, and Tshepo Langa at the kit donation in Cosmo City.

He added that their primary focus in the areas they work in is education, healthcare, food and nutrition.

“We do have some other initiatives like this that are impactful. We work with children’s homes; we support them with household items and clothing. We also financially support The House Group so they can cover the basic needs of the disadvantaged girls, abused and neglected. The list is endless since the foundation started in 2021.”
