The New Girls to represent SA in New York

The learners from the dance studio won their position and heading to New York.

A total of 20 learners from the Enpointe Studio are going to represent South Africa at the 2024 ADA nationals in New York. They got the opportunity after competing at the American Dance Awards South African qualifying competition in September. In this competition, the studio received five high silvers and eight golds.

Claire Fisher is a senior dancer.

A teacher from the studio received a special award for being ‘just right’ in choreography, and the skills and lifts in the acrobatics group ‘New Girl’. Both teachers, Toni Jacobus and Reze-Tiana Wessels politely accepted the award together. The learners who always practise at Dainfern Golf Estate are happy that they are getting an opportunity to go to New York to achieve their goals and dreams.

According to one of the moms of the group, Michelle Fisher, “We are so proud of all the girls. They put so much time into their routines and it was so lovely to see them in their costume designs. A big thank you to the moms and especially to the choreographers/teachers. We are proud to represent Enpointe Dance Studio.”
“We wish them all the best as they plan and prepare with their teachers for upcoming competitions.”
