Companies play golf and give back at JD Group Charity Golf Day

Randpark Golf Club gets jam-packed at JD Group Charity Golf Day.

The JD Group Charity Golf Day brought another round of fun, banter and networking to Randpark Golf Club, and once again it was all for a good cause.

The annual event saw companies keep both the Bushwillow and Firethorn golf courses busy all day, though when players were not on the greens somehow playing socially and competitively at the same time, they ensured the clubhouse jam-packed as they relived the events on the green, and took photos with former Springboks Victor Matfield and Nick Mallett.

On the greens, there were refreshments at every hole, as companies ensured they had presence and vibe at their gazebos. These also featured mini-games, such as putting from hula-hoop to hula-hoop, or ringing a bell at the Caxton and Spark Media ‘ring for at thing’ wall to make magic hands appear and pour drinks for players.

“We saw a lot of brand activations as well, and that was one of the highlights for me,” said event organiser Stef Michael. “Companies really gave their all and it was good to see everyone connecting.”

He said another highlight was the Louis57 Foundation and the Do More Foundation each receiving donations towards their foundations work.
