Northgate resident is frustrated with pollution
Northgate resident Unathi Moyo has a love of animals and he hates to see them affected by pollution.
Unathi Moyo (14) from Northgate writes:
The issue of pollution is something that frustrates me. I think the Earth is being affected by it badly and we need to do more to protect our planet.
I just like nature; it interests me a lot. I like animals a lot and there are very few animals left. Their population has gone down. So pollution is a very bad thing to me as well as other people who have an interest in animals.
To prevent pollution we could stop chemical spills and find better sources of energy. This will protect our environment better.
Young people should also take an interest in pollution because it causes a lot of diseases that can infect you. There are plenty of people who are being affected, and it will only get worse with future generations.
