Learners at Orion College reached for the stars in their fun and talent-filled concert called Journey Home.
The home-grown school concert included learners from both the primary and high school. It was written and produced in-house, and was crafted to provide an opportunity for the school’s budding young actors, dancers and singers to showcase their talents.
The sold-out show was about a family travelling home when they get lost and separated on the way. They traverse the world, using the stars as a guide until they found their way back to Orion.
“A lot of planning and preparation went into this home-grown performance,” said primary school principal Barbra Robinson. “For months, our learners rehearsed, and it culminated in an amazing display of commitment and hard work by the learners and staff. Thank you to our Orion College family, for the immense support in making Journey Home a success.”
