Chantelle wishes change in Windsor

A young Windsor resident and marketing management student shares insight about the Windsor community

Chantelle Langa writes:
I am a marketing management student at Technisa in Randburg.

Not only has Windsor been my home for years but an environment I’ve watched evolve. Windsor went from a peaceful suburban area to mass destruction for many families. Even though financial situations have pulled most families down, what I’ve never failed to recognise is the subliminal change that individuals have created.

Mathabo Bekimbia-Tchoffo and Beverley Jacobs keep doing their part to uplift the community. They have each strived to get children off the streets by giving each family food packages to reduce hunger, as well as health care essentials. Their aim is not to make individuals small but rather to make the community a better place.

Even instances of litter filling up the streets were eradicated by having cleaning projects that also help the unemployment. As an individual of the youth, it’s been brought to my attention that jobs are impossible to find – no matter the qualification.

The community needs founders and sponsors from different companies to uplift upcoming entrepreneurs by sponsoring their brand and promoting it as well. Not only is that needed but we need companies to sponsor the education of the unemployed and have the homeless cleaned up, and provided with food and shelter.
