The 18-year-old, whose real name is Levi Gabriel Green, said that he has always loved entertaining people.
“I used to wake up every morning with my granny opening the windows and screaming my lungs out as I thought I could sing, and people would laugh and say I was jokey,” he said with a giggle.
Born and raised in KwaDukuza, better known as Stranger in KwaZulu-Natal, but now based in Ferndale, he has always enjoyed putting smiles on people’s faces.
He reminisced, “Even in school, I was more feminine than other kids, which I used as an advantage because old ladies in my area found that interesting, and they would send me to the shop to buy something, and I later ended up cracking jokes to them.”
This is where his love for entertainment began.
According to the first-year business management student at Damelin, his upbringing was never good. “My mother left me when I was two years old, and I had to stay with my foster parents, which was not good at all because there were difficulties I encountered while staying with them,” he told Randburg Sun.
“I lost the love for my foster family because they did not support and believe in my dreams. It was painful and depressing for me because I enjoy entertaining people.”
Despite that, he did not give up on his dream and began posting videos on TikTok in 2020 and started taking the world by storm. “After two months, I started trending, and my followers grew very quickly, with some commenting and saying – do more.
“Big brands started reaching out to me and sending me promotional packages and small branded deals. And I can say that was because my content is unique and represents who I am.”
The star currently has 34.6 million likes and 645.5k followers and promises his fans more exciting content in the future.
“I want my name to be known all over the world, to be on billboards, and to be an inspiration to everyone else who is losing hope, and to inspire them to believe in themselves and God’s works.”
