Haliphirimi Infinity crowned 5-aside Thursday premier league champio

Halephirimi player Syabonga Khumalo said that they going to retain the title by not changing a lot of things and keeping the same team, momentum, and team spirit that they show every season.

It was a perfect season for soccer team Haliphirimi Infinity as they won all their games to clinch the Fast Sports Fusion 5-aside Thursday Premier League title at Old Parks.

Haliphirimi won all of their nine games to bag 27 points. Their closest rivals were Elite FC on 24.

Haliphirimi Infinity player Syabonga Khumalo said, “Honestly, our identity as a team is different compared to others. We have a certain style that we use when we play which sets us apart from everyone, how we attack and defend and we also use our keeper as the extra player.”
This season was more intense as games were recorded and streamed live on Vision View TV.

Fast Sports Fusion director Alistair Silima said, “We have partnered to broadcast the Thursday Premier League on their streaming site. This partnership will go on for the autumn season as well.”

He added the league had gone well but as with most summer seasons, they had challenges with rain and lightning. “The safety of our players is of the utmost importance so this made the league a bit longer.
“We congratulate all who participated and a special congratulations to the winners Haliphirimi Infinity.”

Renault Bryanston, Loxion Kulca and Infinity Foundation were among the contributors that ensured the success of the league.

Silima invited other teams to join the league in which games were played from Monday to Friday.
