Easter 100 gives community members a chance to catch up

It was not all about running when Randburg Harriers hosted the 39th annual event.

A series of runs adding up to 100km, a family Easter egg hunt and a bring and braai, were all reasons to be at Randburg Harriers Running Club between April 7 and 9.

More community members turned up than expected, and the atmosphere was vibrant despite the difficult task that was completed each day (runners ran 48km on Good Friday, 32km on Saturday and 20km on Easter Sunday).

In fact, smiles abounded and many stayed an hour or two afterward to stretch, rest and enjoy the company of friends.
