Passionate photographer shares her journey to capturing life’s moments
Nicole Young said that her rates are also set super low, as she would rather cater to people who would appreciate the memories but can't always afford expensive photographers.
Nicole Young writes:
My name is Nicole Young, Founder of U-Nixx Photography. I have a very close relationship with my camera.
I started U-Nixx Photography in April 2020. The company that I was working for prior to this, unfortunately, had to close its doors due to Covid-19. I have been doing wildlife photography for as long as I can remember (all my wildlife photographs are available for printed canvasses), and once covid hit us, I decided to spread my wings a little. I had some close friends be my first subjects and I absolutely loved it.
One of the other main reasons that I wanted to get into portrait photography is the fact that I lost my grandfather in 2015 and have very few photographs of us together or even just of him.
I am a mobile photographer in Joburg North and travel to wherever my clients.
I do wildlife, architecture, weddings, portrait, corporate, events, family, engagements, couples, singles, etc.
I also had a client of mine pass away shortly after the family shoot I did for her and her family. I would like to help as many people as possible in capturing their memories with the people they cherish the most before it’s too late.
