Ferndale High School matric Class of 2022 learner Lesedi Mathuloe shares her excitement with Randburg Sun about her matric results
She writes:
I am quite relieved and proud of my results.
We worked hard considering the Covid pandemic which didn’t make things easy for us but we tried our best and persevered.
I am excited to go to university and am hoping to go to Cape Town UWC or UCT to study dentistry.
To the 2023 matrics, I advise them to work hard and give it their all. It’s extremely important to have a balance between school and being able to take a break.
Matric was extremely challenging considering we did not have proper grades 10 and 11.
I prepared for my exams by attending Saturday programmes and I also had extra classes, so I think that contributed to my results together with going over past papers and study guides.
