Police officials from all over the country are gearing up for another year with their ultimate priority of ensuring safety within their communities and taking no compromises.
The spokesperson of the Randburg Police Station, Captain Makgowanyana Maja, briefly shares plans for 2023.
Before touching on his vision for the new year, the captain welcomed residents and his officers to 2023 and hopes that the new year brings joy to them.
“We are hoping that this year can be a great year for all of us most importantly for the residents. We continue to urge our communities to participate more in community policing structures in order to curb crime in partnership with the police and other stakeholders,” said Maja. “Our goal for the year is to reduce the common robberies which showed a little bit of an increase according to the previous quarterly statistics.”
