Randburg Sun received the award for Best Community Involvement for our Hero of the Month project at the AVBOB FCJ Excellence Awards for 2021, held on October 14.

The campaign was run in conjunction with Westpack Lifestyle last year, and saw community members nominating other community members who had really gone above and beyond the call of duty to help others. This winners received gift vouchers from the sponsor, Westpack Lifestyle.

Randburg Sun also placed 3rd in the Best Free Corporate-Owned Newspaper (pagination more than 24) category, which was an absolute thrill for the team.
