O Kae Molao operation leads to 29 arrests

Thirteen undocumented people were also processed during the recent operation in the Randburg Police Station precinct.

Randburg Police Station arrested 29 suspects during a recent O Kae Molao operation in the policing precinct.

Spokesperson Captain Makgowanyana Maja said arrests during the operation on June 30 included common robbery, drunk driving, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and fraud. “Among the suspects are also 13 undocumented persons [who] are waiting to be processed,” he said.

“The aforesaid are expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court after formally being charged.”

Maja said Station Commander Brigadier Michelle Jones applauded the members in their effort to bring those who broke the law to book so justice can take its course. She also warned those who take advantage of the vulnerable, that her members have vowed to bring them all to book.
