An additional woe for Randburg Rhinos
Randburg’s fiercest basketball team train hard to better weeks full of setbacks in the Johannesburg Basketball League.
Randburg Rhinos suffered a 59–68 defeat against Diepkloof Ball Addicts in the Men’s Premier Division of the Johannesburg Basketball League (JBL) on June 26.
Following the Randburg Rhinos’ recent successes, their last two games have seen them falter.
The team has always been a force to be reckoned with. “We are one of the most feared teams in the league and we once represented Gauteng province in the past,” said Kuda Zvareva, the technical director of the league and a founder of the basketball team.
Zvareva shared their chairman and the main sponsor of the team was Taurai Takarupiwa. ”He is actually my president on the panel of the Johannesburg Basketball Association and has been our resident coach who has stood with the team through and through.”
The Randburg Rhinos are working towards coming back from this setback in their coming games.
