Soccer stars play against business owners

Sipiliyoni FC vs Cash and Carry FC promotes the spirit of togetherness through soccer in Multipurpose, Cosmo City.

Business owners played a friendly game of soccer against local sportsmen at Multipurpose Sports Ground, in Cosmo City.

Spilinyoni FC comprised local athletes and they put Cash and Carry Football Club to the sword, winning 8–2, but the intention of the game was to foster kinship among African brothers living in harmony in South Africa.

Caswell Mfondo a coach of the triumphant side said, “We are recruiting a team [Sipiliyoni FC] in Cosmo City currently, and we decided to test our new players who have recently joined us.”

During the match, Bibo Ndabakanyise, Spilinyoni’s defensive midfielder, played superbly and Cash and Carry could not get past him.

Nkosi Rasemana scored the first goal of the game for Sipiliyoni, setting the tone for a chaotic first half in which three more goals were scored.

As they went into the second half, more pressure mounted on Cash and Carry FC.

“However, I do understand and did not expect them to be perfect. They are business owners, not soccer players, so overall I am happy we got to play soccer with our African brothers and promote peace in our game.”

Players exchanged handshakes and hugs at the conclusion of the game, creating a friendly atmosphere.
