Dads dress as superheroes, have fun with children on Father’s Day

Curro Aurora Preschool organises company to bring games, music and outfits to make the day super.

Some special superheroes surprised children at Curro Aurora Preschool for Father’s Day.

Dads, uncles brothers and others dressed up in super attire and wowed the youngsters before playing interactive games with them at the Sundowner school.

“When a young child dressed in her princess cape stands at the gate to see who has all arrived and shouts out ‘Dad, is that really you?’ – you know that you really are a hero in her eyes,” said Grade R coordinator Angela Harty.

“Clark Kent was here with his glasses and red tie; Batman and Darth Vader were here in capes and tight-fitting masks that were within SOP protocols for sure. Ironman even made it.”

The afternoon was hosted by Playball which arranged interactive games that were exciting and playful.

Some activities had the heroes out of breath, others felt pain in many muscles the next day.
