Robert Mulaudzi of EMS said, “We provided all the emergency equipment because we know that the residents are struggling with the provincial response and as for the ground force [paramedics and firefighters] we know the struggle the station and residents face, hence we implemented an action plan.”

The station received emergency equipment such as Burnshield products to treat the burns of fire victims, an oxygen mask, a box of latex gloves, an oxygen bank full of personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus to assist patients.
Regarding the provision of fire engines to Cosmo City Fire Station, he said the plan was to deliver fire engines by 2023.
