Honeydew police arrested 23 suspects on a variety of charges over the weekend.
This is from 06:00 on May 13 to 06:00 on May 16.
“[Crimes] ranged from theft of petrol, possession of suspected stolen property, malicious damage to property including TVs, assault common, sexual assault, assault GBH [with intent to cause grievous bodily harm], theft, shoplifting, selling of alcohol without a licence, pointing of a firearm, and drunken driving,” said Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthana .
“All these suspects will appear either in the Randburg or Roodepoort [magistrate’s] courts.”
