Clean Green Foundation from Bloubosrand embarked on a journey to assist local schools in the area.
The foundation started a fundraising initiative by selling R20 raffle tickets. Stefanie Winterburn said so far North Riding Build It donated paints which they will give to schools in the area.
They will assist Takane Academy, Boipuso Primary School and Petts Independent Christian Academy with the paint and the upgrade. “So donation or even hands to come and help on the day will be appreciated,” she said.
She indicated that they were yet to decide on the date they will go and assisted the schools.
Each raffle cost R20 per ticket and the prize is a date night for two people at the Chef Jacques on a Thursday. The prize would be valid for a month after a draw scheduled to take place on April 9 at 20:00.
