Three injured in a head-on collision
ZANDSPRUIT – According to ER24, the driver of one of the vehicles was not found on the scene.
ER24 responded to a two-vehicle collision on Marina Road, Zandspruit at around 00:00 on 14 February.
According to ER24’s communications officer Russel Meiring, three men were injured following a collision between two light motor vehicles. ER24 arrived to find the vehicles light motor vehicles in the middle of the road. “One man was seated inside one of the vehicles while two others were walking around,” he said.
Medics assessed the men and found that all three had sustained moderate injuries.
“Fortunately, no fatalities were found. The patients were treated and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further care,” explained Meiring.
The driver of one of the vehicles was not found on the scene. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
