There were many reasons to celebrate for Northriding College, Primary School and both pre-schools linked to the group. Marketer Christine Delport writes:
Highlights
Northriding Pre-Primary and Sharonlea Childcare and Pre-Primary kicked off the year with a team building event, which was a great success.
Special events for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, crazy hair day, cupcake king and queen, winter wonderland, Heritage Day, sports day, beach day, and more, were celebrated by these youngsters.
The high school (college) also celebrated some of these days, but also noted academic and extracurricular achievements.
One event rose awareness about breast cancer during Cancer Awareness Month (October).
This was initiated by Grade 8 learners, and many people wore pink masks, made posters and gathered for a drone crowd photo on the field, on the day.
