Unity College celebrates rewarding 2021

CHARTWELL – A number of improvements and celebrations for Unity College were at the forefront of a successful year.


Unity College gave their year-end message to the community on a ‘busy but rewarding year’.

Principal at the school, Retha van Niekerk said the school had a number of successes, including the enrolment of 20 new learners from November last year..

“Successes in the year included our Annual Market Day, which also led to stacks of doggie biscuit orders from the supportive Chartwell North Estates Community,” she said.
“We are bursting with pride when we look at our learners who have come to the end of their career at Unity College, both Senior Phase and Vocational Training Centre Trainees.

“We know that they are undoubtedly going to carry the Unity College flag high in their future endeavours,” said van Niekerk to learners leaving Unity College.

Van Niekerk said she was excited to welcome the new learners enrolled for the next year, as well as the opening of the senior boys’ hostel and Early Intervention Centre.
