CPF visits shopping centres

HONEYDEW – Honeydew CPF patrollers and police officers raise crime awareness at shopping centres.


Members of Honeydew police and patrollers of the Community Policing Forum spent time at local shopping centres recently.

This to inform and educate residents about current crime trends and what to look out for.

The forum’s public relations officer, Michael Steyn said safety tips included not just locking one’s car and walking off but to actually check and make sure it’s locked

“We feel that this type of interaction is very important as residents hear it first-hand and understand it better,” Steyn said.
