Wagging tails and kitty kisses are all you need to brighten your day, and the SPCA Randburg has you covered, with a number of beautiful dogs and cats all looking for new homes to call their own.

This is a three-year-old male collie that was picked up as a stray and never claimed. He is quite strong but he is affectionate. As a typical collie, he is extremely intelligent and needs a big space to explore.
Leo is a one-year-old calico domestic medium-haired female cat. She is affectionate, fluffy and so soft. She is house-trained and has a soft inquisitive nature. She’s an extremely friendly cat and enjoys the presence of people.

Some of the animals at the shelter have been there for a long time, and would love to become your new best friend, while others have only recently arrived, but are not looking to become long-time residents.
Each has its own character and personality, and with a little time, you will be sure to find a new friend that will fit perfectly into your family.

This beautiful female tabby is seven years old. This cutie absolutely adores affection. She is very friendly, calm, quiet and sweet. She also gets along so nicely with her kennel mates.

The SPCA has reminded residents to ensure that their complex’s rules allow pets before getting them, as they often see pets surrendered because of complex rules. This is not fair on animals to be chopped and changed from home to home.

Cora is a nine-month-old cull terrier that was surrendered to the SPCA as her garden was not secure enough to keep her in. She is shy but comes out of her shell. She loves to sit on laps get tummy tickles. She would love a big garden.

Please note that there is a fee attached which covers costs of vaccinations, de-worming and sterilisation. There will be a home inspection before the animal can be adopted.

Putzi is an 11-year-old German shepherd-cross.
She is shy in the beginning but loves attention when she gets to know you. She needs a retirement home to live out her last few years. Please consider adoption of this old lady.
Vivi is a female Jack Russell and is about one year old. She is energetic and knows commands, and would make an awesome companion for a young family. She loves to play and is is full of life. She was an inside doggy and is house trained. Photo: Supplied.
