Linden’s Robotica Club competes with the best

LINDEN – Fun way to master creative thinking and problem-solving.


High school learners participate in global robotics competition.

Linden Hoërskool is proud of their learnerS who recently featured in the virtual World Robot Olympiad (WRO). The school’s Robotika Club was established in 2015 and has been growing from strength to strength and was able to send their learners Louwhan Hoffman, Bernard Greeff and Ben de Bruyn to the event.

Hosted by the WRO Association, whose mission is to promote robotics in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education worldwide. The robotics competitions has four different categories for learners aged between eight and 19 years from over 85 countries. The school’s Marianne Gouws said, “It is an activity that incorporates science, technology, maths and engineering. Not only is it fun, but also helps our learners with creative thinking and problem-solving.”
