Furry friends need new homes

RANDBURG – The SPCA Randburg has a number of pets looking for new homes.


Nothing beats coming home from a long day at work quite like seeing a wagging tail waiting for you, and the SPCA Randburg has got a couple of wagging tails just looking for a home to call their own.

This cute little pug and Pekingese-cross is estimated at around one-and-a-half-years old. She is so affectionate and loves to sit on your lap all the time. Kennel D7. Admin 52167.

Some of the animals at the shelter have been there for a long time, and would love to become your new best friend, while others have only recently arrived, but are not looking to become long-time residents.

This Sharpei-cross male is three years old. He knows how to sit on command and will wait patiently for his treats. He is a strong cuddly teddy bear. Kennel B2. Admin 52212

The SPCA has also called on its followers to assist them with much-needed supplies, including Bob Martin puppy food, kitten pellets, treats for cats and dogs, catnip, black bags, washing powder, toilet paper, bleach, pine gel, fly traps, black pens, Jeyes fluid, dishwashing liquid, and chicken, liver and rice for the sick animals.

Cindy is a stunning three-year-old cross-breed. She is very gentle, very soft-hearted, and just needs a bit of love and trust. Kennel D8. Admin 52336.

These items can be delivered to the SPCA during business hours.

This male pit bull is around eight months old. He loves to play all types of games and playing with balls. He is easily trainable – he can sit on command. Kennel A5. Admin 52253.

Please note that there is a fee attached which covers costs of vaccinations, de-worming and sterilisation. There will be a home inspection before the animal can be adopted.
