Curro Aurora is very proud of the results achieved by Grade 7 learner Megan Ras at the recent South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) regional competition.
The youngster and her pony Tyson G did extremely well and secured a position in five Gauteng provincial teams.
The riding levels run from zero to seven, with seven being the highest level you can compete in. “The fact that Megan made an A team in Level 7 is astounding,” explained the school’s head of marketing, Mageshree Tandree
“She will also get specialised tack presented for Level 7 A team, which is very exciting. This is an amazing achievement.”
Megan has made the following teams for Gauteng:
- Performance riding Level 5 – B-team
- Equitation Level 4 – A-team
- Working riding Level 5 – A-team
- Handy hunter Level 5 – A-team
- Working hunter Level 7 – A-team
The Primary School nationals run from October 5 to October 9 at Kyalami Equestrian Park. “We wish Megan all the best for the upcoming competition,” Tandree concluded.
