EFF leader, Julius Malema and MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi had their common assault case postponed today (September 6) at Randburg Magistrates Court.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwana said the pair did not to appear at court for the postponement as per an arrangement between the NPA and their lawyer.
They appeared at the court in October last year, and in March and July this year but the case has been repeatedly postponed for the State to conduct further investigations.

The Economic Freedom Fighters pair were involved in a scuffle with lieutenant colonel Johannes Jacobus Venter during the funeral of struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela at the Fourways Memorial Park in April 2018.
Two witnesses who were questioned in March were retired police officer, Colonel Charles Seanego ad Deon Klingbiel, the former operational manager at the memorial park.
There is also video footage of the incident.
