Learners at Blairgowrie Primary School did their part during a recent soup drive.
“Towards the end of last term our Grade 7 councillors of courage and care ran a soup drive where they asked for donations of packets or tins of soup,” said Jane Brown, Grade 6 grade leader.
“The families of the school responded generously and we were able to donate the collection to a charity organisation called Let’s Work. “Claire Mukendi from Let’s Work came and collected the soup from the school.”
Mukendi said it was a pleasure working with the school and she was grateful to be able to give the soup to those in need.
