Zandspruit mob justice case postponed

ZANDSPRUIT – Those charged with murder will have to wait a bit longer for their bail application.


The case involving six people charged with murder for a mob-justice killing in Zandspruit, has been postponed at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court.

The six are accused of the murder of eight young men during a public incident on 19 May.

The deceased were assaulted and their bodies left to burn on a soccer field.

The case was postponed for the defence’s lawyer to prepare for the bail application.
