Learners have fun on World Book Day

NORTH RIDING – Local nursery school and college learners dress up as characters from their favourite books.


Magic Beings and Cooper College learners showed their love for books by dressing up for World Book Day on 23 April.

“Bright colours, bizarre outfits and happy faces could be seen on the Magic Beings and Cooper College campuses,” explained Hesna Muller, Cooper College’s executive head and spokesperson.

“Learners of all ages dressed up for this occasion – from the smallest Magic Beings babies to the Grade 7 learners. At our school we foster a love for reading from a young age and encourage parents to read with their children at home.”
