Linden police arrested 96 suspects in February on a host of charges.
These ranged from violent to non-violent crimes, and Linden police spokesperson Constable Takalani Matumba urged the community to report incidents to the station.
Charges related to the following:
- Armed robbery
- Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
- Reckless and negligent driving
- Attempted murder
- Illegal immigrants
- Fraud
- Malicious damage to property
- Disaster management act/Covid-19
- Possession of stolen property
- Driving under the influence of alcohol
- Rape
- Intimidation
- Trespassing.
