Saints cricket alumnus excels for Ireland

Campher built on his fantastic debut against England scoring 89 runs and taking wickets in both games against UAE.

St Stithians College is proud to announce yet another recent accolade for their cricketing alumnus Curtis Campher.

Campher was named Man of the Series last month for his performances in cricket One Day International matches against United Arab Emirates (UAE) for Ireland.

Campher built on his fantastic debut against England scoring 89 runs and taking wickets in both games against UAE.

Ireland also played against Afghanistan on 21, 23 and 26 January, ultimately losing the series. The next tour Ireland will take part in will be a series of matches against Bangladesh from 17 February to 19 March.

“Our cricket community at St Stithians is extremely proud of Curtis’ achievements and we all believe that he will only excel further in his cricketing career. We are all looking forward to some more top performances from Curtis. Congratulations from one and all,” said school spokesperson Annie Fyfe-Hitchings.
