Ann Harding Cheshire Home missions on

NORTHWOLD – The Ann Harding Cheshire Home appeals for greater community support.

The Ann Harding Cheshire Home is doing well despite the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis.
“As we entered into the lockdown in March last year, many of our residents have found life a bit harder as they have been unable to leave the home since then. However, their families were able to visit, under strict conditions,” said the Ann Harding Cheshire Home’s Jackie Kyle.

Kyle said that unfortunately with the second wave of Covid-19, and further lockdown restrictions resulting from it, families have been unable to visit their loved ones.
“Many of our residents have found this to be a tough situation, but they have understood that these precautions are necessary.”
Kyle was happy to announce that there have been no Covid-19 cases at the home, proving that the stringent conditions are working.
“Our staff have been fantastic, and many of them have even moved into spaces inside the home where possible to help avoid the commute in. Everyone has really pulled together to help, and we know this spirit will continue.”

The Ann Harding Cheshire Home charity shop will be open to the public once again from 19 January, and all hygiene precautions and social distancing protocols will be followed.

“Our residents are not allowed near the shop on the days open to the public. We are excited about our shop opening again, as we really need the support. Many charities have taken financial and physical support knocks during this time, as well as many of the families of our residents. This only puts everyone under more pressure.”

She added that the Ann Harding Cheshire Home’s online store has been a tremendous success, and there is always a continued need for support in donations and support for purchasing at the store and online.
