Blood donations in memory of Adrian Ziller

NORTHGATE – Friends donate blood in memory of their friend, Adrian Ziller, who was a regular donor.

Adrian Ziller and his friend Liam Doyle regularly put aside their differences to donate blood together.
However, this tradition was cut short when Ziller sadly died suddenly in October.

Recently, his wife and a few of his friends gathered to give blood together in his memory at the SANBS blood bank at Northgate.
“Our friends remembered how he encouraged them to be regular donors and gave in the weeks that followed,” said Doyle.
Adrian was an atheist, while Liam is a devout Christian. They had been giving blood together regularly since 2016.

“Blood supply in South Africa is always under strain, and Christmas time sees an increase in demand. Find a few moments this December to give blood. One donation can save up to three lives.

“As Adrian would say – Giving blood is the easiest way to be a superhero. Be a hero this festive season,” concluded Doyle.
