Magic Beings: A look at 2021

At Magic Beings Nursery School, we provide our children with an elevated learning experience.

With dedicated teachers, teacher’s assistants, and specialised baby-centre supervisor who can even advise new mothers on this exciting journey, we have created an environment that promotes growth as well as the nurturing and development of all children.

As a Curro Select School, we follow the internally-developed programme built around the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs). Through this programme, we focus on holistic development, and children are encouraged to learn through play.

What can you expect in 2021?

We have experts who handle newborns

With three cosy rooms, a baby gym, and staff expertly trained in dealing with newborns, our baby centre is uniquely equipped to make babies feel safe and loved. We understand that newborns require continuous, intensive love and attention. At Magic Beings, mothers can even get advice or encouragement on feeding, weaning, teething and other milestones from our baby centre supervisor.

Our children benefit from excellent play areas

Magic Beings knows that children learn from their environment, therefore, they spend lots of time outdoors (weather-dependent) in our sensory garden, sandpit, and elaborate jungle gyms. Our classrooms each have their own playgrounds to ensure that children benefit from safe, age-appropriate play areas.

We supply everything – even toiletries and food

It takes a village to raise a child – and we are part of your village. Therefore, we supply everything for your child, including nappies, wet wipes, bottles, and the formula of your choice. You only need to pack a change of clothes. As a Curro Select School, our on-site kitchen prepares wholesome meals and snacks, appropriate to each age group, and we carefully consider dietary requirements and allergies.

Fun events and new languages

Pending regulations regarding gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic, we hope to reintroduce our fun annual events such as  Friendship Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Sports Days. Furthermore, learners in Group 5 are conversationally introduced to Afrikaans, isiZulu and French through songs, rhymes, and casual discussions.

This past year may have caught the world off-guard, but we at Magic Beings remain committed to continuing the magical journey of your child’s early development through fun and play.
