City Power alerts residents of a planned power outage affecting parts of Randburg scheduled for 14 October.
According to City Power, the power interruption is necessary for maintenance work on their network and is part of their programme of constantly striving to provide better service.
The following streets will be affected on 14 October from 9am to 5pm:
- Hans Schoeman Street
- Malibongwe Drive and Rabie Street
- Elize Road and Aimee Street

As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times. City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by the interruptions.
