The Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) has completed its Service Delivery Blitz in Region B and has moved to Region C on 4 September.
The blitz, which kicked off in Region B last week, is set to tackle the citywide backlog of road defects accumulated over the level 5 to level 3 nationwide period.

The @MyJRA anticipates to complete 750 potholes repairs in the region within the 1st five(5) days of the blitz.

According to the JRA, since they had been allowed to operate with short staff during Level 3, they have completed 969 reinstatements citywide.
“Potholes and road surface reinstatements have been prioritised under the Service Delivery Blitz to ensure that structural road defects are resolved to ensure safety on our roads,” said JRA on a statement issued on 1 September.
