Covid-19: Recovery rate reaches 87% mark

Sadly though, a further 126 people have lost the Covid-19 battle, bringing the death rate to 14 389.

While the number of positive Covid-19 cases continue to rise steadily, so too do the recoveries.

Currents infections are sitting at 630 595, while the recovery rate has reached 87 per cent, with a total of 553 456 recoveries.

3 726 721 tests have been conducted so far, since the beginning of the pandemic. The province with the highest number of infections remains Gauteng, followed by KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape.
