Emer-G-Med responded to two separate accidents in Randburg on 26 August.
The first incident was a collision that happened on Malibongwe Drive in Strijdom Park close to the N1 at around 1.30pm.
Caitlin Kruger, a team member from Emer-G-Med, confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles, “Traffic started slowing down at a red robot and a vehicle at the back didn’t realise that the traffic was stopping and crashed into the vehicle in front [of it]. We took two patients [to a nearby facility for further care], both sustained moderate injuries,” explained Kruger.
