Three injured in a collision in Kya Sand
Kya Sand – The collision involved multiple vehicles including a truck.
Emer-G-Med responded to a multiple-vehicle collision on the corner of Malibongwe Drive and River Road in Kya Sand on 6 August at around 1.10pm.
According to Emer-G-Med, four vehicles were involved in the collision near Cosmo City including a truck. “Vehicles were travelling in the same direction. One car had to brake, a truck couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the car,” said Caitlin Kruger, a member of the Emer-G-med team. “Two bakkies then crashed into the truck causing a ‘pile-up’.”
Kruger added, “On arrival, we treated and transported three patients with mild to moderate injuries.”
