Emer-G-Med responded to a collision on the corner of Malibongwe and CR Swart drives in Randburg on 6 August at around 4.40pm.
The collision involved three vehicles which were travelling in the same direction behind one another. “The driver at the back did not see that the traffic had stopped resulting in it crashing into the back of another vehicle,” explained Caitlin Kruger, a member from the Emer-G-Med team. “That vehicle then crashed into another vehicle, causing a ‘pile-up’.”
On arrival, paramedics treated and transported one patient with mild injuries to a nearby facility for further care.
